Brevard Little Theatre (BLT) is considered the “Official Community Theatre of Transylvania County.”

Since 1935, BLT has produced live theatre in Brevard, and the all-volunteer nonprofit organization provides quality performances, as well as acting and educational opportunities for youth and adults throughout the season.

BLT relies solely on ticket sales, advertisers, fundraisers, grants and donations. The theatre is located at 55 E. Jordan St. in the historic American Legion Hall in downtown Brevard. For more information about the productions, including tickets, call (828) 884-2587 or go to www.thebrevardlittletheatre.org.

This summer, BLT will produce “Snoopy,” a musical, Aug. 16-19 and Aug. 23-26. In the show, Charlie Brown and the entire Peanuts gang relive some of their most memorable times, and Snoopy realizes that his “monotonous” life isn’t so ordinary after all. Lucy, Peppermint Patty, Sally and Linus, with all their antics, show the beagle about his great friendships and fulfilling full-circle life.Other
