Elf workshops, train and pony rides, photos with Santa, bonfires and S’mores, food and drink are among the many things being planned for this year’s Twilight Tour in downtown Brevard. This year’s Twilight Tour, which is organized by the downtown organization the Heart of Brevard, will be held Saturday, Dec. 2, and is the traditional kick-off event for the local holiday season. This year’s Twilight Tour will also feature musical performances on multiple stages, a community lighting of the Christmas Tree in front of the courthouse, the reading of “‘Twas The Night Before Christmas,” and old-time Christmas movies in an outdoor theater. The event, which typically is held between 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., traditionally follows the Brevard/Transylvania Chamber of Commerce-sponsored Christmas Parade at 3 p.m., and comes through downtown.
